Objectives

• Ensure basic needs and services for vulnerable groups through sustainable economic development programs.

• Empower women through group formation, capacity building, skill development, and livelihood creation.

• Promote socio-economic and cultural development among SC/ST/Adivasi communities and Tea Garden populations in Assam.

• Promote literacy, family welfare, civic awareness, and a socially responsible society.

• Establish educational and vocational institutions to enhance learning, reduce unemployment, and improve life skills.

• Conduct awareness programs on water, sanitation, hygiene, and health through camps, training, and workshops.

• Advocate for human rights and fundamental freedoms for all individuals, regardless of caste, gender, religion, or language.

• Encourage environmental conservation through initiatives such as biogas, vermicompost, and organic farming.

• Raise public awareness on disaster risk reduction (DRR) and build resilience in vulnerable communities.

Areas of Intervention

• Livelihood Development: Facilitating sustainable income opportunities through skill training, entrepreneurship, and micro-enterprise support.

• Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR): Strengthening community preparedness and resilience through disaster awareness, training, and capacity-building programs.

• Child Protection & Child Rights: Ensuring the protection and holistic development of children through education, safety measures, and rights-based advocacy.

• Women’s Rights & Empowerment: Promoting gender equity, leadership, and empowerment of women through awareness, rights education, and economic independence.

• Land Rights: Supporting marginalized communities in accessing and securing rightful land ownership and usage rights.

• Education: Promoting inclusive and equitable education for children, youth, and adults, including formal, non-formal, and technical education.

• Health & Hygiene: Improving community health outcomes through access to healthcare, awareness on sanitation, nutrition, and clean water initiatives.  

Skills Development:· Enhancing employability through vocational training, life skills, digital literacy, and entrepreneurship support.
