SocialRecovery allows users to upload chat export files that they have manually obtained using official export features of messaging platforms.
Uploaded content may include messages and media files
All uploaded content is processed locally on the user’s device
Uploaded files are never transmitted to external servers
SocialRecovery does not access or modify user content outside the app
Users remain fully responsible for the content they upload and view.
SocialRecovery does not automatically collect:

Crash reports linked to personal data
SocialRecovery does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.
The app is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, Snapchat, Telegram, or any other messaging platform. Platform names are used solely to describe compatibility with user-exported data files.
All data remains on the user’s device
No cloud storage or server-side processing is used
Deleting the app removes all locally stored data
While reasonable measures are taken to ensure local data handling, no system can guarantee absolute security.
SocialRecovery is not intended for children under the age of 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
