Chidi Oji

 My name is Chidi Oji, and I am a full-time student-athlete at Pima Community College as well as a student at the University of Arizona, where I am studying Physiology and Medical Science. This website is created for my LIS150 project, where I explore how social media, especially Instagram, has transformed the way athletes promote their personal brands, engage with fans, and open up professional opportunities.

My research Focus on how are athletes using Instagram to shape their careers, promote their personal brand, and engage with fans? Additionally, how does athlete branding on social media impact their professional opportunities and audience relationships? In this project, I dive into the evolution of athlete branding, examine case studies of top athletes, and analyze broader trends in digital sports marketing. I also consider the challenges and ethical considerations that come with an increased digital presence.
