exchange:
information is shared or transferred between individual groups.
competition:
stakes, there is a reward for the completion of a goal and different groups or individuals compete.
cooperation:
the different parties involved are both reaching a common goal.
conflict:
an issue in which both parties are on the opposite side. each party tries to convince the other that they are correct.
accommodation:
state of balance between cooperation and conflict
