Crafting A Better Digital Society by confronting the social implications of using the internet and ICTs

I am Oarabile Molefi, a 21-year-old female born and bred in Kagiso, Gauteng South Africa. Most people would describe me as a kind, humble, helpful and hardworking individual. I have always been passionate about learning new skills and this influenced my subject choices in high school and my module majors in University. I studied at Jan de Klerk High School in Krugersdorp and matriculated top of my grade in 2020. I chose to study Computer Applications Technology (CAT) from Grade 10-12 and acquired a lot of technological skills. I am currently studying Education in Senior Phase and Further Education & Training at one of the leading universities in South Africa, majoring in Mathematics and Information and Communication Technology (ICT). 

I would love to master coding and website designing as I love working with computers. This would enable me to solve a lot of problems in the digital world while also exploring how far my technological creativity can go.

I am a firm believer in integrating ICT in education, as it would be beneficial in more ways than one, including learning how to navigate the computer and other technological devices in preparation for the workplace or creative space.
