Updated Notary Public Service Fees Effective January 2027
Assembly Bill AB-1597 was signed by the Governor and chaptered on June 30, 2026.
Effective January 1, 2027, California notaries may charge:
Acknowledgment: $20 (was $15)
Jurat: $20 (was $15)
Copy certification of a power of attorney: $20 (was $15)
Deposition services: $35 (was $30)
Deposition oath: $12 (was $7)
Deposition certificate: $12 (was $7)
