To achieve energy-efficient data transmission at a consumption rate of aJ/bit, spin transport emerges as the sole solution. However, the efficacy of spintronics devices faces limitations owing to the comparatively shorter relaxation length of spin, typically ranging from 1-3 nm. I try to explore the long-range ballistic transport and optical manipulation of orbital angular momentum across tens of nanometers within magnetic heterostructures.
