ALDINE AMPARO - FOUNDER AND TEACHER
Ma. Aldine Amparo has 11 years of teaching journey with children of diverse ages, languages, cultures, and nationalities. Recently, she helped transition 15 students with learning and/or behavioral difficulties to the high school level. She specializes in scaffolding math lessons, visual maths, and providing accommodations for summative assessments.
Ms. Amparo achieved her Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics from Dela Salle University in the 1980s. This is the foundation for her 9 years of engagement in the semi-conductor industry and commencement as an Industrial Trainer.
After teaching high school mathematics at Tenby International School in Malaysia, she gained compassion for children with learning challenges and pursued her specialist diploma in Teaching and Supporting Children with Special Needs from ACC, Singapore. She was then employed as a Teaching Assistant (Pre-K and Grade 3) and eventually as a Student Support Teacher for Grades 7 and 8 at Stamford American International School in Singapore.
She firmly believes that every child can learn and learn differently. This hope molded her passion to study and use teaching strategies(Active learning, Mathematical Mindset, Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol, Digital Learning) that inspire, build, and celebrate small steps.
Her dream is to make each child reach their full potential and serve the purpose that God has designed for them.
