SOAR stands for Student Operation for Avian Relief. As a group we have collected data since 2012 and our currently working on many projects to move Loyola towards a more bird friendly campus.

After cataloging all the information for Loyola's records SOAR gives all birds to the Field Museum where they are kept as specimens and used for other research purposes.
