Short Bio
Seunghwan Chung is a master’s student in Geography at Seoul National University. His research interests lie in the relationship between climate and regional cultural differences, as well as the impacts of climate-related disasters on human life and society.
Building on his undergraduate training in climatology, he has developed a broader interest in climate disasters, climate change, and palaeoclimatology. He is particularly interested in understanding past climates as a way to better understand present and future environmental change.
