Osteoporosis: a systemic skeletal disorder characterized by low bone mass, micro-architectural deterioration of bone tissue leading to bone fragility, and consequent increase in fracture risk

MRONJ: >8-week persistent maxillofacial exposed bone (or probeable via fistula) in patients with current/prior antiresorptive or antiangiogenic therapy, without jaw radiotherapy or metastasis 

Research purpose: to discover pathogenic mechanism, novel therapeutic targets and treatment strategy
