Program overview
Snowy Owl Care is a full day early childhood program for 2 1/2 to 6 year olds. A licensed home-based care program in Bainbridge, Snowy Owl Care offers a student experience tailored to the needs of your child. Given the licensing maximum of 8 students, Snowy Owl Care offers more lessons and individual attention during the preschool and K years: a critical growth period for your child. Learning activities include Montessori, Kindermusik, a play center, and an emotional/social curriculum featured by the National Association of Educators of Young Children. About me
Sandy Spears has a Master’s degree in early childhood education from the University of Houston. She is also certified as a Montessori early childhood instructor through MACTE. In addition, she has a Kindermusik certification and completed the 8 month Rice University Cultural Literacy Program. She has taught for 19 years and, prior to that, was a foster parent for 5 years when her own children were toddlers and her husband was working overseas 80% of the time. :)
