Ryan Rhode is in his second semester of college here at the College of DuPage and majoring in Criminal Justice. He is enrolled in the three plus one program with Lewis University and will not be leaving COD to complete his Bachelors degree. When he's not at school, he likes to hang out with friends and family as well as learn about law enforcement, when he has free time. Other times outside of class, he works at one of his two jobs, one he likes, and one he doesn't like. After he graduates from college, he plans on pursuing a career in law enforcement. Ryan chose to do this topic because he feels that having a transparent government is an important part of having a successful country.
Anna Gorman is a freshman attending the College of DuPage. She plans to earn her Associates of Arts degree. When Anna transfers, she aims to double major in Economics and Philosophy. Her ultimate goal is to enroll in law school to become a juvenile delinquent attorney. In her free time, she enjoys volunteering at her park district or working on local political campaigns. Her past experience with the government initially turned her attention to Edward Snowden. For the past four years, Anna has kept up on current media and followed his story. She hopes that this website will inform you on the Edward Snowden issue, and why this group sees him as a hero.
Tim Lally is a Freshman at the College of DuPage, currently planning to get an Associates in Arts. Once thats completed, he'll be moving on to the University of Illinois at Chicago and plans to eventually go into either Marketing or corporate Human Resources. Ever since childhood, Tim was captivated by current events and matters of national security. Once hearing about the Edward Snowden case, he became infatuated with the story, and has read through and seen hours worth on articles and videos pertaining to the issue. When he's not scouring the internet for new and important literature, Tim enjoys spending time with his friends and family, playing with his two dogs, Vito and Carmella, and playing sports such as basketball and baseball.
Megan is a sophomore at the College of DuPage. Her major is still undecided, but is thinking about majoring in psychology and becoming a child life specialist working with children in hospitals. She plans on getting her associates degree and transferring to a university. When she is not in school she nannies and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She was excited about researching Edward Snowden because he saw something he felt was not morally right and took action by standing up for what he believed in. After doing extensive amounts of research throughout the semester she hopes readers can see Snowden in a positive light.
Joe is currently a freshman at the College of Dupage. He intends on studying finance at Illinois State University. Joe is a teller at Wheaton Bank & Trust and plans on growing with the company. He enjoys playing golf in his free time and hanging out with his friends. Joe was first introduced to the Snowden topic when he was a junior at Glenbard North High School. Thanks to his former teacher, Mr. Meyers, Joe has decided to critically expand on his research about Edward Snowden. Joe agrees with what his former teacher said about Snowden, but Joe shows there is two sides to the Snowden issue.
