Playable characters can move and jump around a 3D environment, the camera is facing from above and follows the 1st player, you can slightly rotate the camera but not all the way.
Any other players that go off screen, squished or fallen to the void will be teleported back based on whats their Tutorial buddy. They can be on screen facing back doing these below
Teddy: Throws a box based on holiday to launch you out of it.
Ready: Summons a portal based on element to teleport you back to safety.
Markie: Draws a door based on color so you can exit out of it (the marker will draw out the door on its own if Markie is a playable character)
Characters are able to double jump
Aiming can be easier with pointing it with a mouse and clicking, however if you want an advanced aim for any controllers, they would need to charge the attack and move the aim cursor. Shooting without charging would go for the angle the character is facing.
There is 2 main attack buttons. Besides Snowby, the 2nd attack is a special attack that takes a longer cooldown.
You an guard when holding Shift, and moving while blocking turns into a fast Dodge Roll.
Candy (+20)
Snack Bag/Fruit (+35)
Drink (+50)
Dessert/Fast Food/Regular Food (+80)
Candy Cake Slice (MAX)
Candy Cake (MAX, can have 8 uses)
Rainbow ??? (invincibility, ultimate speed and attack speed, enemies touching the player while invincible will instantly flash to white and vanish)
Most levels will have little challenge rooms that are outside mechanics to other series (Holiday, Element, Colors), you must complete the required Holiday, Element, or Color in order to unlock that area. (Collab worlds will include the challenge rooms, but Collab won't be it's own room)
Can include Puzzles, Enemy Waves, Miniboss Waves, Challenges, etc.
Holiday: The room may be decorated by the holiday, specific world mechanics from the holiday may apply there only.
Elements: The room is based off an element, Enemies, puzzles, and traps may relate
Colors: The room is based off a color, and teaches the mechanics to the Color Type abilities
Different elements could do different kinds of attack/shield buffs to enemies or bosses (Can also apply to blocking).
This can also be used in puzzles with specefic scenarios like a fire path, and you need a water element to wash it off. Otherwise you can work with a puzzle/challenge if you do not have that element which has the same outcome.
All characters do not have to perminentally have the same element, you can switch to a specific element if you:
-Use a candy bought from Candia's sweet store which can change the element (this won't last long if the player takes lots of damage)
-Obtain power from the Fountain that is using a sort of element.
-Torches will store the Element in puzzles, making it fair to not lose your element from a puzzle
Note that Element Characters with different elements of theirs can visually change their attacks
(Example: Flamintruck with Crystal turns fire to laser beams)
Ice: Chills Enemies
Electricity: Faster attacks and bullet speed
Fire: Burning Damage
Water: Melee splashes in an area, ranged does splash damage
Grass: Flower Traps
Ground: More damage and Knockback
Air: Faster running speed, Reduced attack slowdown (that meaning your speed slowing down from attacking or charging), attacking midair can also repel you in a direction
Music: Attack bonus and combo apon hitting attack/dodging by rhythm, combo builds up attack power, doing 3 eighth-notes will do a charged attack based on combo requirement, but will reset your combo. Careful as taking damage will reset your combo, not just missing a beat.
Candy: Candies drop apon perfect charged attack hit or defeating an enemy
Ghost: Some attacks may make you invincible, Dodge Roll is improved, Blocking adds invincibility for a second
Cyber: Charge faster attacks, Improved ranged aiming when charging, and indication if an enemy is on your melee range
Space: Melee attacks apply more range and knockback, Ranged projectiles curves towards the enemy
Crystal: Adds a +50% HP as a shield, and a 5-hit shield when blocking (very slowly regens)
Time: ??
Darkness: ??
Illusion: ??
These are weapons/abilities Snowby can use, he can hold up to 1, or 2. For the 2 toys will have two seperate attack buttons, one for one tool, the other for another. There is many customization of 2 toys to mess with. You cannot use two of the same tool.
Tools are organized by Tiers, as the higher ones are more unique, but are more expensive.
Tools can be made in Snowby's home, it requires tickets, and will be opened to make if the specific game was made.
Sometimes one or more can have certain attack or hp bonuses if the tool are new or been rarely played.
Color types can even change what you do for using the F/X button midair! Purple = High Jump, Green = Rope Swing/Grapple Hook
Color Palette can change your color type to any choice (as long as the players has unlocked that color) (Can be spawned in the hub or in before the boss)
Paint Buckets will give out some color of whats included if you hit it. Kinda like the Element Fountain
Orbs also display the given color ability, and going to it activates how similar it is to the Color Type move.
Filters can force the player to a specific Color type, remove the color completely, force the player to be gray (unable to jump), apply a dark filter (1 jump only). (This can be only applied to puzzle rooms)
Templates require using a Color Type to use to make something like a vehicle, turret, bridge, etc. it will show a given white object with a black outline of whats likely to be drawn/built
Play as Snowby and the first buddy (based on the game) in a mashup of the first worlds, no further gimmiks are applied unless it's the game's main thing.
None: Dive
Purple: High Jump
Blue: Jump + Slowfall
Green: Rope Swing/Grapple Hook
Yellow: Platform (that follows player)
Orange: Speed Boost (can be pressed once or held for boost)
Red: Dash
Lime: Stair Build (can block projectiles, breaks, stays on air for a few seconds)
Teal: Zip forward in a short distance avoiding obstacles, has a quick recharge
Cyan: Dives diagonally down, Drill (goes underground/water/lava/walls), bounces on spiky/sharp flooring.
Sky Blue: Increased Jump Amount + Dive becomes a glide
Indigo: New Attack (gives a unique attack button that brings you upwards. Ex. Starzana's Rocket Jump, Sleebee's up umbrella jab)
Pink: Teleportation (Hold to see the teleportation destination as the reach goes further on where you are facing, tap to quickly teleport forward)
Magenta: Magic Sprint (Run while slowing down time, runs in 5 seconds, rechargeable when not used, cannot attack, weaker than Yellow's, slightly slows your other friends)
There is around 35 or more characters that will join Snowby, each may have a more unique ability! Some may be also included with their own Holiday/Element/Color. You can get more by adventuring forward.
If it's Player 1 only, then player 1 can switch to any buddy
Player 2 however, P1 is stuck as Snowby and cannot switch to buddies, and P2 is allowed to play as the buddies.
There will be a option before playing if you wanna play solo or duo.
You can freely change characters (if on Hard Mode or below), and changing characters can make the character before be switched out with the hp kept
Snowscarf, Treetoy, and Springift will be unlocked any way when their associated game is released. (sugarcap is unlocked as a demo unless ther DLC is purchased)
Some buddies become motivated with slight stat buffs if they haven't been chosen after many playthroughs.
This is a collectible you get after completing a level, or side mission.
Toys will have a unique look to it on different levels or missions
Talent Levels are a stat of how strong your character goes, and you use the Gym to upgrade their performance.
Some Talent Levels can be capped to:
6 for Holidays/1 Game
12 for Elements/2 Games
18 for Colors/3 Games
22 for DLC/3 Games, with DLC release
This only ups the cap based on if the game has decent progression.
LVL UP Benefits:
HP Increase
Better Attacks (Speed, Range, Additional Effects, Quality of Life improvements)
Default Element, if unlocked (Lvl 7)
Default Color, if unlocked (Lvl 12)
After the first 5-6 worlds, you are given a choice to pick a path between 2 which grants 3 more worlds on each, you can't go to the other worlds that aren't selected until you beat the chosen path. A cutscene may be given during the decision that shows all quests and benefits from each path. The 2nd path will become slightly more difficult.
You are also given the choice to skip one or both areas and go straight to the Time/Darkness/Illusion world, but this is not recommended as going through the levels is super difficult, and will become easy if you complete both paths.
You are allowed to bring other characters to other series as long as you unlocked that character. The stats will be saved, not to mention it can also work in previous series aswell (Bringing new characters to older series).
Mechanics (Elements/Colors) can also be transfered across!
You press button, and character does something funny, adorable, etc. Each character has a unique action along with the costume. Custom Modded emotes (if possible) will be discovered in the Weather Shrine.
Nice Taunt (something kind or playful)
Neutral Taunt (being silly or something casual)
Naughty Taunt (being disrespectful)
Dance Taunt (locked for Parti Pass, everyone has the same dance, syncs with music, has an intermission animation until the music reaches another measure, may also enhance the music)
There will also be a emote wheel included if there is Community Made Emotes (if possible).
There is choices of staying as 1 player, or start off with 2-4 players.
Players cannot play as the same character as others
It is recommended for 1 or 2, but if you want to embrace chaos, go for 3-4 players.
It is unsure if this game will be played on a online multiplayer to host and join in locally, but its also alright to plug in controllers to play with others in the same room.
If you ever gotten though a specific obstacle and missed some treasue on your way, there will be a glowing clock just at the end of the area to allow the player to retry it (with tickets and such back to their original). Best for making completions easier.
Used to buy upgrades and things!
However upon different game series will only allow a specific amount of tickets saved in 1 game, and cannot be used in other games or assets not involved of the game (some may allow any kind of ticket bank)
Example: You cannot upgrade Flamintruck if you have lots of stored tickets in Holiday Heroes.
Soon throughout completing the game will enable fusing both connected saved tickets together in one.
When losing all hp, you will be returned to the last checkpoint, rules often change by the difficulty. This does not apply to boss levels.
Multiplayer gives the ability to revive friends back to 40%
This is a place where you can spend tickets on extra stats and quality of life changes.
Certain ones can give you either visual or convenient upgrades,
Examples:
Math: [A] See damage given, [B] See damage taken
Science: [?] Improves one of the elements
Language Arts: [A] See lore about used character in phone [B] See lore about world [C] See lore about current boss
Art: [?] Improves one of the color abilities
Social Studies: [A] Quick travel in world select [B] Instantly play the level in the quick travel selection [C] Choose to travel to which area of the level (completion reward will be nerfed based on how far its skipped) [D] Any 1-time collectibles and missions will be saved upon leaving

There will also be books labeling some little facts about Holidays, Elements, Colors, and Collab.
Villains may also be on one corner chilling giving conversations on call to show more on the story
Crayodile works in a museum in which has listed fanarts collected (and not by that the person playing this will own the image/figure). Fanarts will be collected across the world in secrets or has those machines which will let you spend to earn each. Fanarts can also apply to the health bar along with text chat profiles (in some cases).
(I will probably ask for permission to list them, I am not likely gonna put literally all)
This is a place owned by Candia, any candy there can grant boosts or useful effects!
Candy can be obtained apon beating a level, purchasing from the store, or arena rewards. And can sometimes heal you.
Theres a limited supply of them which restocks over time, which forces you to use other kinds of elements/colors without just always going for one singular combination. Theres even some exclusive for character only.
Boosts: Increases the stats like strength, hp, speed, etc.
Element: Changes element along with a damage boost of the element
Color: Changes color
This is a area where you upgrade character's Talent Levels, it requires tickets in order to add up more Talent Levels to a character.
The cost gets more expensive through each Talent Level added on a specific character. However it gets cheaper if there are some characters who are behind on levels, making it fair to allow the character to catch up with the same talent level.
Some minigames are available there as a free way to grind upgrades (which either discounts the cost of upgrade or completes one upgrade when the upgrade cost is enough).
Rhythm Fitness Challenge:
A rhythm game of any catchy music. You can choose up to 1 to 4 characters. Main gimmik is that circles fall into a target where you must hit when the circle lands on. The more characters you have on train, the more challenging it becomes handling all spaces or just how less you have breaks.
Some songs has their own mode on how it's best played.
Concert Mode: One character/player plays a role through he entire song, either by hitting in a beat, guitar, rhythm, sometimes the music may include unique threats like chart movement or distractions, or otherwise you can optionally toggle it off with a % of final score being decreased.
Mania Mode: Play in a 2/3/4 key rhythm game which each character/player having each turn, with less characters leaves a gap to not play on so it allows small breaks, but because there is less characters leaves less to recieve upgrading.
.
Ex. Play a rhythm game with the music of Timezone Battle Theme playing while training Snowby, Snowscarf, Treetoy, and Springift.
This is a place if you wanted to replay all boss fights in a single run (in lore, you are able to go back in time to replay the battle, which is a quest given by the arena requirements, thus also allows access to a particular force that is only required once fighting previous bosses in a short time).
Boss rushes are named as "Playlists"
example: Watch Playlist, Knight Playlist, Sketch Playlist
Longer playlists allows a selection of 3 characters in singleplayer or 2-2 for 2 player so they can be switched in intermissions or as an extra life, this doesn't apply to 3 or above.
There is 3 versions of it,
Regular: The first 3
Ultra: The whole main story bosses
Ultra EX: All EX Bosses
There is also a quick fight if you want to fight a boss quick without having to go through the intro, and you can also play in a custom playlist (rewards are the same from the story mode's, no extra rewards for custom made playlists)
This is a place to buy costumes to have very cool looks to the character,
There will be challenges in order to get the costume. Rewards from that is tickets and a costume that is either free or is available to purchase in the costume store.
Example: Marsh Supporter Cubgum requires beating any 1-1 level without hurting a Marsh.
You may be able to customize the appearance, weapon, element effect separately!
Some may change the Holiday/Element/Color
Substitutes are like Costumes, but often replaces the character with someone else who does the same ability.
(Example: Ready Tutorial as Tealtron)
There will be an extra Bonus purchase which gives benefits like:
-Extend the player limit to 5 instead of 4
-Access to 10 players from an online game (any player that joined after 5 player may have to sit out on most scenarios)
-Decrease the expensive prices to get locked characters in different games (if the game associated were released)
Example: In Excellent Elements, you can unlock Starzana without playing Holiday Heroes for a less-than-expensive price (is expensive without the pass)
-Unlock Snowscarf, Treetoy, Springift, and Sugarcap early instantly even if the game associated weren't released (future mechanics is not likely made yet)
Sugarcap will be unlocked apon release of the DLC as a demo character if Parti Pass isn't bought (cannot be upgraded)
-Adds bonus boss fights in the Arena, possibly from different universes
-Unlocks archives of specific Events to complete at any time with no deadline to finish all (event progress saves if deadline hits)
-Unlock DLC Worlds
-Enables Dance Emote
-Unlocks a challenge of beating the boss and it's harder variant without taking damage, to unlock them as a playable character (as a costume of someone else)
Example: Beating Timezone and Bad Ending Timezone will unlock them as a costume for Cubgum (because both fires projectiles and summons allies)
Not all of the holidays are included, and that's why there will be more featured as DLC! (a thing that elements or colors may not include). These can go by Day of the Dead, New Year's Eve, etc. You are forced to use a selected amount of characters based on the world.
You must purchase the Parti Pass in order to unlock these worlds.
(note that holidays related to birthdays of a particular individual will not apply)
There may be new friends and crafts featured there.
Example:
New Year's Eve World
New Playable Character: PAIN_O
Selected Characters: Snowby, all of Explody Corp. Characters
Snowby's new craft: Jet Sneakers
Expected DLCs
Christmas Eve
Earth Day
New Years Eve
Black Friday
Day of the Dead
(For ones not included, there may be a costumes for a few characters that is themed off the unlisted holidays)
This is a device that most characters have in order to use certain tools with it in this universe! This can be a tool to invite friends over to play or chat with. Different characters have different Explody Mobile cases!
A player will use this device whenever the game is paused by them, certain functions like settings or photo taking are examples.
Used to travel to worlds and levels!
In some levels there will be a Roller Coaster part, which will allow the players to travel with some beautiful cutscene around traveling.
There may be some with blasters which you aim and shoot at any obstacles and enemies while you are also given the ability to duck from danger. (Talent Levels can also affect the power and speed with the blasters)
Whatever character original Holiday/Element/Color will change the blaster style
Elements changes the bullet element (Makes it fire, electric, etc.
Color changes the blaster type (Blue = Watergun, Red = Sword gun, etc.)
Some bosses can also be part of this blaster mechanic.
(For speedrunners, there will be a button to speed up the roller coaster for 1 player only)
Many puzzles will be in the levels, or in secret rooms with an optional puzzle. It's either timing, skill, aiming, movement, or thinking puzzles.
If it's difficult to find the solution, there will be a wifi hotspot to call Snowvie by either paying a few to voice chat and let her give hints, or pay more for a video chat and let her give you the solutions.
Loading Screens can be boring, but it may include a world art as the background, maybe a certain character running in one corner.
The bottom left shows a phone displaying a text chat, two or more characters will get into a conversation which shares more about them.
In some worlds, there will be some quests you can do. It will grant you some tickets, toys, and can unlock costumes for the store!
In Creative Colors, there will be little paintings for you to teleport in, that leading to certain platformer challenges with the help of the Color Type you can use to get to other platforms. The ending will reward with Tickets and Toys. (Easy and Medium mode won't include damage from falling or traps)
If a character loses all HP, they will activate a death animation by being recoiled back (based on hazard direction) and walk backwards a few bit until collapsing (each having a unique animation), with multiplayer you can revive them. If it were to happen on air or on a hazard, either they collapse more quicker or a Tutorial Buddy would help recover it (if multiplayer).
Animation Example:
Snowscarf losing balance and tripping on their scarf
Treetoy walking backwards then suddenly timbering down
Springift bouncing back while painfully failing to land
The ending point includes a stage for 5 people and the 1st player must land on it to finish the level
A specific music will play which the player must rhythmically press the right key in the moment to pose/dance and for succeeding that will give free tickets. Failing to do that will include a flopped pose/dance which reduces your bonus.
Stats will show up on how much tickets collected, damage taken, best player, special missions, etc.
(profile template credit to pkmnalexis29 and fedheadphone)
Switching through characters might be the most annoying to look from, since there will be like 15 crafts and 35 buddies. These are now rather split into some kind of tab or arrow to navigate through type and series.
Series goes through Holiday, Element, Color, Collab, then Other (like Marsh, or Randomized)

There is an optional switch to lock the difficulty whenever there is a challenge you want to face, do note that this cannot be undone.
A little temperature number will appear beside a selected level in world select, showing how intense it is based on your difficulty and what world you chose.
Hard mode may include a timer that summons a random invincible EX boss apon hitting 0!
Deaths are gonna be rephrased to "Lessons Learned" in this game
