Teen Take-Home Kits

For grades 7-12

Sad that you can’t make it to some of the fun teen programs at the Library? We know you are busy, and we want you to be able to participate! In December and February, we will have a different take-home activity for you to enjoy on your own time.

No registration necessary. Pick up a kit on or after the first of each month, while supplies last. 

Sunset Social Club

Saturday, November 9th from 5-

For grades 9-12.

Taylor Swift Birthday Party

Friday, December 12th from 6 - 8 p.m.

For all ages. 

Back by popular demand! We’re going to celebrate the birthday of everyone’s favorite pop Showgirl, Taylor Swift, and you’re invited! Come dressed in your favorite Eras-inspired outfit, make and trade friendship bracelets, check out all of the Swiftie-inspired activities, and end the night Shaking It Off with a Taylor Swift dance party!

Register beginning November 15th and kindly register each family member individually.

Marvel Superheroes

Wednesdays, December 17th, January 14th and February 18th at 5 p.m.

For grades 7-12

Do you like Dungeons and Dragons? Then you will love the superhero role-playing game, Marvel Superheroes! It has everything D & D has, PLUS robots, monsters, mutants, aliens, and more! Play as your favorite movie or comic book hero (or villain) OR roll up and create your own superhero! Meets the third Thursday of each month.

TAB Meetings

Thursdays, December 18th, January 15th & February 19th at 5 p.m.

For grades 7-12.

TAB is a group of teen volunteers who aim to help the Library and community, take an active leadership role in implementing programs and services, and earn volunteer credit while doing it! Current and prospective TAB members are invited to join us one Thursday each month for our monthly meeting..

K-Pop Demon Hunters Sing-Along

Friday, January 9th from 5 - 7 p.m.

For grades 5 - 12.

Join us for a high-energy K-Pop Demon Hunters party that mixes music, dance, food, and fun. Come dressed as your favorite character and get ready to sing along to your favorite songs from the movie while enjoying Korean-inspired food and other activities!

BP Book Hawks

Thursday,  January 22nd at 3 p.m.

For grades 9-12. 

Get ready for lively conversation with this high school book club! Bring your coffee and a copy of the book to the Fireplace Room in the Library. Snacks provided! Stop by the Children’s Desk at the Library to find out what we are reading and get a copy of the book. 

This book club is open to all high school and homeschooled students in grades 9-12.
