Abstract submission closed!

The Programme Committee invites the submission of abstracts of the paper for oral and poster presentation. The deadline for abstract submission is November 30, 2024. 

Abstract may be submitted as a MS Word file and should be uploaded through the registeration gateway. Please visit the Registration page for submitting the abstracts and enrolling as a participant for the symposium. The final placement of the abstracts under oral or poster will be decided by the Programme Committee. 

• Abstract should include title, name, affiliation and address of all authors, email address of the corresponding author and the main text. 

• Type text using single space in Times New Roman font; Title: 14-point bold font; Names of authors: 12 point bold font; Affiliation (name of Institute/university): 11 point font, Address: 10 point font and Main text: 10 point font. 

• Name of the presenter should be underlined and the name of corresponding author to be starred with an asterisk (*). 

• Abstract should not exceed 250 words.

Important: Abstracts send by any other means will not be considered. Abstracts may be uploaded in .DOC or .DOCX format.

• The Posters should be brief, self-explanatory and informative. Besides text, figure, table, etc. it should also contain the name and affiliation of the authors. 

• Fonts of the posters should be readable from a distance of at least 1.50m. 

• The size of the poster should be such that it can fit well in the poster panel of 90 cm x 120 cm (width x height). 

• Each technical session will have two oral presentations. Paper(s) for oral presentation will be selected from among the abstracts contributed on before November 25, 2024. 

• LCD projectors will be available for oral presentation. The presentations should be in the Microsoft PowerPoint format (.pptx) or any other compatible format. 

• Poster Presentation 

• Boards for Poster presentations that can accommodate 90 x 120 cm posters will be provided at the Congress venue. 

• The articles of the Lead and Invited lectures and Oral presentations would be published in a special issue of the Indian Journal of Genetics and Plant Breeding (Indian J. Genet. Plant Breed.). 

• The complete paper should not exceed 10 pages of A4 size typed in the format of the Journal. 

• A soft copy of the papers should be submitted online at www.isgpb.org within 15 days of receiving communication of selection.

Best oral presentation award

Oral presentations will be evaluated by a committee for the selection of best oral presentation awards.

Best poster presentation award

Displayed posters will be evaluated for awarding the best poster presentations.
