SnapTidy Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SnapTidy mobile application ("SnapTidy", "the App", "we", "us", or "our").

By downloading, accessing, or using SnapTidy, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use SnapTidy.


1. About SnapTidy

SnapTidy is a photo cleaning and organization application designed to help you review, organize, and manage photos stored on your device.

Depending on your device, operating system, permissions, and App version, SnapTidy may provide features including:

We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time.


2. Eligibility and Acceptance

By using SnapTidy, you represent that you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms under the laws applicable to you.

If you use SnapTidy on behalf of another person or organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

If applicable law requires parental or guardian consent for your use of the App, you must obtain that consent before using the App.


3. Photo Access and Permissions

SnapTidy requires access to photos and media on your device in order to provide its core functionality.

You control the permissions granted to SnapTidy through your device's operating-system settings.

iOS

On iOS, SnapTidy uses Apple's Photos framework to access photos that you authorize.

Depending on the permissions you provide, SnapTidy may have access to selected photos or a broader portion of your Photos library.

Android

On Android, SnapTidy uses the applicable Android media APIs and permissions.

The exact behavior may vary depending on your Android version, device manufacturer, device configuration, and permissions.

You are responsible for reviewing the permissions requested by SnapTidy and deciding whether to grant them.

If you deny or restrict photo access, some SnapTidy features may not function properly or may be unavailable.


4. Photo Deletion

SnapTidy allows you to review and select photos before confirming deletion.

You are responsible for reviewing your selections before confirming a deletion action.

Marking a photo for deletion does not necessarily mean that the photo has been permanently deleted.

After you confirm deletion, photos may be moved to a system-managed Trash or Recently Deleted area, or may otherwise be removed, depending on your device and operating system.

4.1 iOS

On iOS, deleted photos may be moved to Apple's Photos app's Recently Deleted album.

SnapTidy does not control Apple's Recently Deleted album.

SnapTidy does not guarantee that it can restore or permanently delete photos from Apple's Recently Deleted album.

To restore or permanently delete photos in Recently Deleted, you should use the Apple Photos app.

4.2 Android

On supported Android devices, deleted photos may be moved to a system-managed Trash or recycle area.

The availability of Trash, retention periods, and restoration functionality may vary by Android version, manufacturer, system implementation, and device configuration.

SnapTidy does not guarantee that deleted photos will remain recoverable.

4.3 Backups

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of important photos and other personal data.

You should not rely on SnapTidy as a backup service.

Before performing a large-scale deletion, you should ensure that important photos are backed up through a service or storage solution of your choice.


5. Local Processing

SnapTidy is designed to process core photo-cleaning functionality locally on your device.

SnapTidy does not operate cloud storage for your photos and does not require you to upload your photo library to use the core functionality of the App.

You acknowledge that local processing and device performance may vary depending on your device hardware, operating-system version, available storage, and the number and size of photos being processed.


6. Premium Features and Purchases

SnapTidy may offer free and paid features.

Paid products may include:

The specific products, prices, billing periods, and availability may vary by platform and region.

The applicable purchase price and terms displayed at the time of purchase will apply to that transaction.


7. Lifetime Purchase

Where available, a Lifetime purchase is a one-time purchase that does not automatically renew.

A Lifetime purchase provides access to the Premium features associated with that product, subject to these Terms and the continued availability of SnapTidy.

The term "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the applicable SnapTidy product or service offering and does not constitute a guarantee that SnapTidy or any particular feature will operate indefinitely.

A Lifetime purchase does not include future products or services that are separately introduced unless explicitly stated otherwise.


8. Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

Where available, SnapTidy may offer auto-renewable subscriptions.

Subscription durations may include weekly, monthly, yearly, or other periods offered through the applicable platform.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date according to the applicable platform's subscription-management procedures.

The applicable subscription price, duration, renewal terms, and any introductory or promotional offer will be shown before purchase.

Apple supports auto-renewable subscription periods including one week, one month, two months, three months, six months, and one year.


9. Apple App Store Purchases

Purchases made through the iOS version of SnapTidy are processed through Apple's App Store and applicable Apple purchasing services.

Apple's payment, billing, subscription, and refund policies apply to purchases made through Apple.

SnapTidy does not receive or store your payment-card information.

Subscription management is handled through your Apple Account and the App Store.


10. Google Play Purchases

Purchases made through the Android version of SnapTidy are processed through Google Play and Google Play Billing.

Google's payment, billing, subscription, and refund policies apply to purchases made through Google Play.

SnapTidy does not receive or store your payment-card information.

Subscription management is handled through your Google Play account.


11. Cancellation of Subscriptions

You may cancel an active auto-renewable subscription through the applicable app store.

Apple

For Apple purchases, subscription cancellation is managed through your Apple Account / App Store subscription settings.

Google Play

For Google Play purchases, subscription cancellation is managed through your Google Play subscription settings.

Cancelling a subscription generally prevents future renewal but does not necessarily provide a refund for the current billing period.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or the applicable platform's policies, Premium access may continue until the end of the already-paid subscription period.

Uninstalling SnapTidy does not automatically cancel an active subscription.


12. Restore Purchases

Where supported, SnapTidy may provide a Restore Purchases feature.

Restore Purchases allows SnapTidy to check the applicable app store for eligible purchases associated with your store account.

Restoring an eligible purchase does not create a new purchase or additional charge.

The availability and behavior of purchase restoration may depend on:

Payments are processed by the applicable app store.

Refunds are subject to the applicable Apple or Google policies and applicable law.

SnapTidy does not independently control the payment-processing or refund decisions of Apple or Google.

Where appropriate, refund requests should be submitted through the applicable app store.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.


14. Promotional Offers and Trials

SnapTidy may occasionally offer free trials, introductory pricing, promotional pricing, or other special offers.

The terms of such offers will be displayed at the time the offer is presented.

Unless otherwise stated, promotional offers are subject to the applicable subscription and purchase terms.

If an introductory or free trial converts into a paid subscription, the applicable price and renewal terms will be disclosed before the trial begins or purchase is confirmed, as required by the applicable platform.


15. Your Responsibilities

You agree to use SnapTidy only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You retain ownership of photos and other personal content stored on your device.

SnapTidy does not claim ownership of your photos.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights to access, modify, or delete any photos or other content that you manage using SnapTidy.

You are also responsible for ensuring that you do not use SnapTidy to infringe the rights of another person.


17. Intellectual Property

SnapTidy, including its software, source code, user interface, design, graphics, logos, trademarks, text, and other materials, is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

Except for the limited right to use SnapTidy in accordance with these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to you.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or exploit SnapTidy's intellectual property without authorization.


18. Updates and Changes

We may release updates to SnapTidy from time to time.

Updates may include:

Certain updates may be necessary for continued use of particular features.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue particular features where reasonably necessary.


19. Third-Party Platforms and Services

SnapTidy may rely on third-party platforms and operating-system services, including Apple and Google.

We are not responsible for changes, interruptions, limitations, or failures of third-party services that are outside our reasonable control.

We make reasonable efforts to keep SnapTidy functional and available.

However, we do not guarantee that:

21. Disclaimer Regarding Photo Deletion

Photo deletion is an operation that may result in loss of data.

You are responsible for confirming the photos you intend to delete before completing a deletion action.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of important photos.

SnapTidy does not represent or guarantee that any deleted photo will always be recoverable.

In particular, restoration and permanent-deletion behavior may differ between Android and iOS because these functions are partly controlled by the operating system and device.


22. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SnapTidy is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that SnapTidy will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or compatible with every device.

We do not guarantee that the App will detect every duplicate, similar, unwanted, or otherwise removable photo.

Any photo-grouping or similar-photo functionality is intended as an organizational aid and should not be treated as a guarantee that all photos identified by the App are duplicates or should be deleted.

You remain responsible for reviewing photos before deleting them.


23. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SnapTidy and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from or related to your use of the App.

This may include, to the extent permitted by applicable law:

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.


24. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable expenses arising from your unlawful use of SnapTidy, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of the rights of another person.

This section applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.


25. Termination

You may stop using SnapTidy at any time by uninstalling the App.

We may suspend or discontinue access to SnapTidy where reasonably necessary, including for security, legal, technical, or operational reasons.

Termination or discontinuation of the App does not automatically cancel subscriptions purchased through Apple or Google.

Subscription cancellation must be handled through the applicable app store.


26. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Changes may be made to reflect:

When material changes are made, we may update the "Last Updated" date and provide additional notice where appropriate.

Your continued use of SnapTidy after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.


27. Governing Law

These Terms shall be interpreted and applied in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove or restrict any mandatory consumer protections or rights that apply to you under the laws of your country or region.

Where applicable law provides you with mandatory rights that cannot be waived, those rights remain unaffected.
