We operates the SnapPost mobile application and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use SnapPost.
By using SnapPost, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
SnapPost is an AI-powered social posting assistant for small businesses.
A. Account information
Email address and password (if you sign up with email)
Phone number (if you use phone sign-in)
Name and profile details you provide
Authentication identifiers if you sign in with Google or other providers supported by our auth service
B. Business profile information
Business name, city, category, address, tagline, WhatsApp number, Instagram handle, and logo (if you provide them)
C. Content you create
Photos you upload or capture
Post titles, captions, hashtags, and poster designs
Scheduled post dates and publishing history
D. Social account connection data (Meta)
If you connect Facebook or Instagram, we receive and store information necessary to publish on your behalf, such as:
Facebook user ID
Facebook Page ID and name
Instagram Business account ID
OAuth access tokens (stored securely on our servers)
We do not use your personal Facebook profile to publish posts; publishing uses your connected Facebook Page and/or Instagram Business account.
E. Subscription and purchase information
Subscription status, plan type, and expiry
Store transaction identifiers from Apple App Store or Google Play, processed through RevenueCat
We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
F. Device and usage information
App-generated device identifier (not advertising ID)
Device type (iOS/Android), app version
Usage counters related to your plan (e.g. AI generations, auto-posts)
Push notification tokens (if you enable notifications)
G. Local data on your device
App lock / biometric preferences (stored locally via secure storage)
Session and preference data
H. Information from third parties
Login and identity data from authentication providers
Subscription events from Apple, Google, and RevenueCat
We use information to:
Create and manage your account
Generate AI captions, hashtags, and enhanced images
Render poster templates and previews
Publish and schedule posts to your connected social accounts
Enforce free and Pro plan limits
Send service notifications (e.g. publish success or failure)
Provide customer support
Improve reliability, security, and product features
Comply with legal obligations
AI processing: Photos and text you submit may be sent to OpenAI (or similar AI providers) to generate captions, hashtags, or image enhancements. Do not upload content you do not have rights to share.

We do not sell your personal information.
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger or acquisition.
We retain information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After account deletion or disconnection:
Meta credentials are removed when you disconnect or remove SnapPost from Facebook settings
Post content and business profile data are deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after a verified deletion request
Some logs or billing records may be kept longer where required by law or for fraud prevention
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal data.
In the app:
Disconnect Facebook/Instagram in Settings → Social Setup
Update or delete business profile information in Settings
Disable push notifications in device or app settings
Cancel subscriptions via Apple App Store or Google Play account settings
Account and data deletion:

If you connected via Facebook, you may also remove SnapPost in Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites.
We will respond to verified requests within 30 days (or as required by applicable law).
India (DPDP): Indian users may contact us to exercise applicable rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
SnapPost is intended for business users 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information.
Your data may be processed in India and in countries where our service providers operate (including the United States). We use appropriate safeguards where required.
We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure token storage. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
SnapPost integrates with Meta platforms. Your use of Facebook and Instagram is also governed by Meta’s policies:
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the revised version at [https://snappost.app/privacy] and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
