J CEVALLOS CONSTRUCTION, INC. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the SnapFox VPN mobile application (the "Application"). We are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our Application, with a strict emphasis on our No-Logs Policy and compliance with international data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our practices regarding your information. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the Application.
We enforce a strict, absolute No-Logs Policy for SnapFox VPN.
No Traffic Logging: We do not collect, log, or store your browsing history, traffic destination, data content, or DNS queries.
No Connection Logging: We do not log your real IP address, the VPN IP address assigned to you, connection timestamps, or session duration.
Core Commitment: We do not monitor, record, or store any online activity conducted while connected to our VPN service. Because we do not collect this data, we cannot be compelled to provide it to any third party, government entity, or regulatory authority.
To provide the Application's services and maintain its operational quality, we may process a limited amount of non-personally identifiable technical information.
A. Device and Technical Information
Our integration with third-party service providers allows for the passive collection of certain technical identifiers:
Device Identifiers: Device model, operating system version, unique device identifiers (such as Android ID or Advertising ID), and language settings.
Network Context: Mobile carrier, network type (e.g., Wi-Fi, 4G, 5G), and country-level location data (derived from network routing metadata, not GPS) to help connect you to the optimal VPN server.
B. Customer Support Contact
If you contact us via our official email address at dianejames19859@gmail.com, we will receive your email address and any additional information or attachments you voluntarily choose to provide. This information is used solely to resolve your specific support request or technical inquiry and is deleted once the issue is closed.
The Application requires specific system permissions to function correctly on your Android device. We adhere to the principle of data minimization and only request permissions essential for operational delivery. In accordance with Google Play developer standards, these permissions are detailed below:
Internet Access (android.permission.INTERNET)
Trigger Point: Executed automatically when the Application launches or initiates any network communication.
Explanation and Usage: This permission allows the Application to establish a basic network handshake, communicate with our secure backend architecture, and initiate the core encrypted tunnel required to establish a secure VPN connection.
Foreground Service (android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE)
Trigger Point: Executed immediately when the user taps the "Connect VPN" button to launch the secure proxy tunnel.
Explanation and Usage: This permission allows the VPN connection to remain continuously active in the background while you navigate out of the app. It displays a persistent connection status notification in your device's notification tray, preventing the Android system from aggressively terminating the VPN tunnel during background operations.
Foreground Service Special Use (android.permission.FOREGROUND_SERVICE_SPECIAL_USE)
Trigger Point: Executed concurrently with the foreground service whenever a VPN connection is initiated on devices running Android 14 (API level 34) and above.
Explanation and Usage: This permission declares our specific, legitimate intent to run a continuous VPN-related proxy system service under modern Android operating system rules. It satisfies Google Play's platform-level requirements for background task transparency and integrity.
Post Notifications (android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS)
Trigger Point: Requested via an explicit user authorization prompt on the Main screen interface.
Explanation and Usage: For devices running Android 13 and above, this permission is utilized to securely display the ongoing VPN connection or disconnection statuses directly in your system status bar. It may also be used to deliver essential internal app lifecycle events and maintenance notifications.
To monetize our Application and analyze technical optimization, we integrate specific third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs). These third parties collect and process data in accordance with their respective privacy frameworks:
Google AdMob: We utilize Google AdMob to deliver personalized or non-personalized advertisements within the app. AdMob processes advertising identifiers, mobile network data, and technical device characteristics. You can review their practices via the Google Advertising Privacy & Terms.
Google Firebase & Analytics: We implement Firebase to monitor app performance, track crash logs, and evaluate non-personal aggregate user engagement. Firebase helps us diagnose technical instability and improve user flows. You can view their terms via the Google Privacy Policy and the Firebase Privacy Documentation.
Depending on your geographical location, you are entitled to comprehensive legal rights regarding any technical data associated with your device.
A. US State Privacy Rights (CCPA / VCDPA)
If you reside in California or states with equivalent frameworks, you possess the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):
Right to Know/Access: Request information regarding the specific categories of data collected.
Right to Deletion: Request the removal of any collected technical data profiles.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: We do not "sell" your personal information in a traditional sense. However, the sharing of advertising identifiers with AdMob may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" under broad state metrics. You can manage or reset your advertising tracking directly through your Android system privacy settings.
B. European Union & United Kingdom Rights (GDPR)
If you are located within the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, your data is processed under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your rights include:
Right of Access and Portability: Request access to data points we hold.
Right to Rectification or Erasure: Request immediate erasure of support emails or associated device analytics records.
Legal Basis for Processing: We process your technical data based on our legitimate interest in delivering a functional utility app and running an ad-supported service, provided these interests do not override your privacy rights.
C. Brazil Rights (LGPD)
Users in Brazil are protected under the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD). You maintain the right to confirm data processing, access your data, and request anonymization or deletion of unnecessary data points.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details provided in Section 7.
The Application is strictly intended for general audiences and is explicitly not directed toward, marketed to, or designed for children under the age of 13 (or under 16 within the EEA). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children. If we discover that a child under the requisite age has provided us with personal details, we will immediately delete that information from our systems.
We have designated our internal administrative team to oversee ongoing legal compliance and data protection. If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or your privacy rights, please contact our Data Protection Officer (DPO) at:
