Sign up for a ServiceNow ID
Once account is ready, navigate to "Developer Program"
Click "Request Instance" and select the latest available release
Once instance is ready, click "Start building"

Record numbers
Input record numbers like "INC0009009" or "INC0000001" on the Global Search
Click the Search icon or press Enter
Table processors
Click any suggested option like "task.LIST" or "incident.LIST" on the Global Search
Click the Search icon or press Enter
Modules
Input queries like "user criteria" or "service" on the Global Search
Wait for a while to show suggested results, then click any option
Tables
Input queries like "sys_user" or "cmdb_ci" on the Global Search
Wait for a while to show suggested results, then click any option
Sys IDs
Open any existing record like "INC0009009" or "INC0000001"
On the top left part of the screen, click on the Menu icon
Click "Copy sys_id"
Paste the sys_id on the Global Search
Click the Search icon or press Enter
Users
Input email address like "abel.tuter@example.com" on the Global Search
Click the Search icon or press Enter
Dictionary Entries
Input dictionary entries like "task.number" or "sys_user.user_name"
Click the Search icon or press Enter
Text
Input queries like "password reset" or "performance problem" on the Global Search

Click "Run filter" beside the corresponding table to search and open the filtered list
