Audition Details

Audition Date: Sunday, 29th of November 2026

Time: 10am - 4:30pm approx.

Venue: Snitterfield Village Hall, Bearley Road, Snitterfield, Stratford-Upon-Avon, CV37 0JH

What to bring:

Audition Requirements

Everyone wishing to be a part of the production need to attend auditions on Sunday 29th November. If for any reason you are not available to attend the auditions, please get in contact with us as soon as possible, so we can arrange an alternative arrangement prior to the audition date, as the Casting Panel intend to have a full cast list completed on the audition date.

Everyone who wants to be in the show will be required to learn and perform a short excerpt of a song on the day, and on the day will be taught a short dance sequence. In addition, those wanting to audition for principal parts will need to read in section(s) of the script, alongside other auditionees.

These excerpts can be found on the Singing and Dialogue pages. The dance will be taught at the audition, further information on this is on the Dancing page.

For auditionees who are soley interested in Ensemble, it will be unlikely that your attendance will be required for the entire audition period, as we will do the ensemble singing and acting first.

Rehearsal Information

Rehearsals will begin in January 2027, and will be every Monday, and Thursday to start, with Sundays will be added later in the rehearsal period. If you accept a role in the show, you are expected to attend all rehearsals unless agreed in advance - we understand that we are beginning rehearsals quite far in advance, so if you are involved in other productions/have prior commitments, we will be flexible where needed. Please be aware that from the Sunday before the show (Sunday 23rd May) you will be required for various rehearsals every evening and daytime on the Sunday.
