Do I need to do dancing, singing and libretto auditions?
It depends on what part you are auditioning for, named and principal character auditions will involve all three.
Will we be using the backing tracks in the actual audition?
Yes, the backing tracks provided on the Singing page will be what are used on day of the audition.
When can I expect to hear following my audition?
We always aim to get back to you ASAP following an audition, please allow the Casting Panel a few days to collate their ideas and finalise the cast list before you are contacted.Â
Who will be on the Casting Panel?
The Casting Panel is made up of the Production Team - Director, Musical Director, Choreographer and Stage Manager, as well as a member of the SMTC Committee and two non-Committee SMTC members.
