Other Announcements:

  • FALL COOKIE DOUGH FUNDRAISER:

The Sierramont Middle School PTSA is working with Nor Cal fundraising again this year to host a virtual Fall Cookie Dough Fundraiser. Students will be selling delicious treats to raise funds for our school! Our fundraising flyer and registration information will be sent home with students this week. Students who sell at least one item will be entered into a raffle to win a free yearbook!

Purchases can be made online 10/4-10/25. Customers can choose to have their items shipped home for a charge, or shipped FREE to our school. Parents will pick up the items on 11/18 and distribute them. The pick up will be a drive-through event. Further information regarding pick up day will be provided to participants in the coming weeks.

Visit the link below to read parent information and view our virtual kickoff video. School ID: NC121. Please note, use your child's homeroom teacher when registering. You will receive the seller ID after. As always, thank you for supporting our school!

  • LIBRARY FUNDRAISER: Our school library is in need of new books! I am asking for your support to help us raise some money to update the library collection and to purchase library supplies needed for maintaining the books. With your donation, I can purchase books that are aligned to the Common Core and that will keep our collection current and interesting to our student readers. Although we will gladly accept ANY amount, your donation of only $20 per student will allow us to purchase library books for this school year. You can contribute by writing a check to “Sierramont Middle School” and include “library” in the note’s section. Students can drop off the check at the office or library for the next two weeks. Together, I know that we can make a difference in the Sierramont library experience. Thank you for your support!

A message from SMSPTA

Sierramont PTSA would like to thank those parents, students and teaching staff for their generous contributions to the school by becoming a member and making donations.

For those who haven't joined, I ask that you become a member for only $11 and consider the positive impact PTA / PTSA has on our schools in the USA:

As the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the nation, PTA/PTSA is the conscience of the country for children and youth issues. National PTA is 121+ years strong and has established programs and called for legislation that improves our children's lives, such as:

  • Creation of Kindergarten classes

  • Child labor laws

  • Public health service

  • Hot and healthy lunch programs

  • Juvenile justice system

  • Mandatory immunization

  • Arts in Education

  • School safety equipment

  • and many more positive impacts at the school level

Your membership means we can continue to support Sierramont with the following contributions:

  • Numerous after school programs

  • Staff appreciation day

  • Career day

  • Music department

  • Walk n' Roll program

  • Purchase of classroom supplies

More importantly, your membership strengthens the voice of parents and families and influences state legislation to improve our children's education, which in turn creates opportunities for a brighter future generation.

We thank you for your continued support!
