The Force is strong at Sierramont Middle School!
On May the 4th, your SMS PTSA hosted a luncheon to show our appreciation for our beloved teachers and staff. We provided personalized box lunches from a local shop called The Best Sandwiches. (Yay for supporting small businesses!) In addition, our Sierramont families provided desserts, fruit, and other appetizers to round out the Star Wars themed luncheon! President Meredith Studebaker hosted games for our enthusiastic guests. Treasurer Ria Feldman and Secretary Michelle Takeuchi were also on deck. Sierramont PTSA would like to express our sincere gratitude to the many families and community members for their generous donations which helped make this event possible.

A message from SMSPTA
Sierramont PTSA would like to thank those parents, students and teaching staff for their generous contributions to the school by becoming a member and making donations.
For those who haven't joined, I ask that you become a member for only $11 and consider the positive impact PTA / PTSA has on our schools in the USA:
As the largest volunteer child advocacy organization in the nation, PTA/PTSA is the conscience of the country for children and youth issues. National PTA is 121+ years strong and has established programs and called for legislation that improves our children's lives, such as:
Creation of Kindergarten classes
Child labor laws
Public health service
Hot and healthy lunch programs
Juvenile justice system
Mandatory immunization
Arts in Education
School safety equipment
and many more positive impacts at the school level
Your membership means we can continue to support Sierramont with the following contributions:
Numerous after school programs
Staff appreciation day
Career day
Music department
Walk n' Roll program
Purchase of classroom supplies
More importantly, your membership strengthens the voice of parents and families and influences state legislation to improve our children's education, which in turn creates opportunities for a brighter future generation.
We thank you for your continued support!
