Events and Fundraisers for this year:
Scholastic Book Fair
• Support your child’s reading interest by purchasing books during their scheduled class visit
• Volunteer to staff the book fair (2 hour shifts available throughout sale) (must have clearances)
• Staff our spring book fair during the last night at Game Night (must have clearances)
• Co-chair or shadow our current chairs so you can lead the effort in future years
• Chairs for book fair must commit to attending the sale daily or sharing the role with a co-chair in order to have a chair present during most of the sale hours. This is a larger chair role due to its more complex tasks. You will be responsible for coordinating with the Scholastic rep leading up to and following the sale weeks.
Teacher Appreciation Week:
• Donate gift cards and raffle items to cover cost of luncheon
• Assist with week-long recognition of our teachers and staff
• Help plan, set-up, serve and clean up from Luncheon (in teacher lounge)
• Shadow our chair this year so you can lead the effort in future years
ARP Auction:
• Encourage your children to participate – this is a rewarding event for all their reading
• Donate items for prizes
• Shadow our chair this year so you can lead the effort in future years
6th and 7th Grade Field Days and 8th Grade Culmination Day
• Hope for sun, but plan for the rain dates (held during the school day)
• Volunteer to assist with the hydration station (must have clearances)
8th Grade Semi-Formal and Celebration:
• Donate items for prizes
• Volunteer to chaperone (must have clearances) – parents from all grades are welcome
• Help with set-up and clean up (must have clearances)
• Join one of the committees to help plan the event, several planning meetings are held
• Shadow our chair this year so you can lead the effort in future years
