Our project focused on comparing two contaminated industrial sites in Washington State- their cleanup efforts, economic impacts, habitat stewardship, and public health concerns.
Our group is from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA in the Science Management of Contaminated Sites (SMOCS) course. Together, students and professors create student-led projects that delve deep into the science, management and public outreach of communication contaminated site cleanup.
