History of the Saints Band
1907- Music Club formed
1927- Saints Band officially created, mostly as a parade and dance band
1931- Performed at Armistice Day Celebration
1934- First female students accepted into band
1982- Performed in Ensenada, Mexico
2018- Traveled to Washington, D.C. and performed in National Independence Day Parade
2023- Performed in first (to our knowledge) Field Show Competition
2024- Performed at SLD 30 Annual Awards Ceremony at Vandenberg Space Force Base
2025- Color Guard returns to SMHS
2025- Traveled to Chicago and performed in Thanksgiving Day Parade
2026- Performed at SLD 30 Annual Awards Ceremony at Vandenberg Space Force Base
