My name is Lauren Kline and I am so excited to be your new school counselor and restorative approach coach!  

My goal is to deliver a collaborative comprehensive school counseling program that promotes and enhances student academic achievement, college and career readiness, and positive social emotional outcomes.  Our school counseling program is aligned with the philosophy of a restorative approach.  As the restorative approach coach for Stone Mill ES,  I will continue to intentionally develop relationships and build school community.   Please check out the counseling page on restorative approaches!

I worked as a school counselor with MCPS previously.  I provided therapy services through a private practice the past two years, but missed being in a school.  I am thrilled to have the opportunity to return to MCPS and be here at Stone Mill Elementary School!

I grew up in the area and attended Montgomery County Public Schools for elementary, middle, and high school.

My husband and my three adult children also attended Montgomery County Public Schools. 

When I am not at work, I enjoy taking walks with my two golden retrievers and spending time with family and friends!
