My name is Lauren Kline and I am the school counselor and restorative approach coach at Stone Mill Elementary School. 

My goal is to deliver a collaborative comprehensive school counseling program that promotes and enhances student academic achievement, college and career readiness, and positive social emotional outcomes.  Our school counseling program is aligned with the philosophy of a restorative approach.  As the restorative approach coach for Stone Mill ES,  I will continue to intentionally develop relationships and build school community.   Please check out the counseling page on restorative approaches!

I have worked as a school counselor with MCPS for nine years.  I also provided therapy services through a private practice for two years.  I am thrilled to return for my second year at Stone Mill. 

I grew up in the area and attended Montgomery County Public Schools for elementary, middle, and high school.

My husband and my three adult children also attended Montgomery County Public Schools. 

When I am not at work, I enjoy taking walks with my two golden retrievers and spending time with family and friends!
