Small Groups
Small group counseling is offered to students to further support their personal and social development. Small groups give students the opportunity to have additional social-emotional learning experiences. In the small group setting, students are provided with an opportunity to try new skills, to express themselves in a supportive environment, and to benefit from the support of group members. Staff members will help identify students in need of extra support. If you feel your child could benefit from small group counseling, please complete the form below.

Classroom Lessons
Classroom lessons are provided to students through their homerooms on a bi-weekly basis. Lessons are based on the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) Standards. The ASCA Student Standards: Mindsets & Behaviors for Student Success describe the knowledge, attitudes and skills students need to achieve academic success, college and career readiness and social/emotional development. The standards are based on a survey of research and best practices in student achievement from a wide array of educational standards and efforts.
Lessons can be viewed on the calendar page of this site.
