I am so happy to be one of the Gifted and Talented Facilitators at Stone Mountain Elementary. I look forward to working with students to help them reach their highest potential. I have been in education for 30+ years. I have taught grades second through eighth in a variety of capacities including gifted and talented.
I was born in Michigan and lived there until after graduating from Western Michigan University with my teaching certificate. Then I moved to California where I earned my Masters Degree and met my husband. In 2005, we moved our family to colorful Colorado! We have two children. Our son, Luke, is a senior at the University of Denver and our daughter, Leah, is a school social worker.
As a family we enjoy cooking, playing games, hiking, traveling, and attending sporting events. I also enjoy kayaking, gardening, shopping, relaxing on my deck, and spending time with friends and family.
