Author Instructions

The Workshop will be comprised of oral presentations of accepted technical papers. More details for authors can be found below. The Workshop will be held in-person during the SMC 2025 Conference.

Author instructions:

Paper submissions: Authors that wish to have their papers appear in the SMC 2025 conference proceedings and in IEEE Xplore, will need to submit their full (up to 6 pages, with potential for 2 additional pages - total of 8 - at a cost for each additional page) papers to the SMC 2025 conference using this link. Choose "Submit a Contribution to SMC 2025". Under the first submissions category, choose the "Workshop Session Papers" and use code cuef7. 

Full papers will undergo peer-review by a minimum of three reviewers and will be subject to an acceptance rate to be determined by the general SMC 2025 chairs. Submission deadlines are established by the SMC 2025 organizers and may be extended.

Deadline for Paper Submission: May 23, 2025
Notification of acceptance: June 23, 2025
Deadline for Camera-Ready (Accepted) Papers: July 18, 2025
Early-bird Registration Deadline: July 18, 2025
Late Registration Deadline: September 26, 2025

Registration:

All authors of accepted papers will be required to register for the SMC 2025 conference. Rates and registration details will be available here.
