We believe that the foundation for a successful life is laid at an early age. Therefore, we bring the best of innovative curriculum, teaching aids and methods, delivered by creative and fun loving teachers.
One of the most special aspects of SmartStation is the student-teacher relationships. Teachers prioritize getting to know their students not just as learners but as human beings. We know from research that when children feel safe and known at school, it leads them to take risks and do their best work.
"Our curriculum is strategic.
It is intentional. It is emergent."
SmartStation follows best of established educational principles. SmartStation School has an added advantage of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 implemented already. Our Flexible Curriculum has been designed post graduates with Masters in Academics and Certified Reflective Teacher from Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
Our curriculum provides a nurturing program that unfolds the authentic spirit and character of each child while educating their hearts and minds. Our teachers seek to instill a deep and lasting academic excellence, one that prepares children to learn confidently for the rest of their lives and to give generously and joyfully to others.
Our curriculum focuses on activity- based settings to educate students for academic excellence and personal integrity in a diverse community that emphasises responsibility, stimulates collaboration and promotes mutual respect. Our Students learn to have confidence, independence, high-self esteem and develop a joy of learning.
We follow Creative Curriculum (thematic) alongwith the hands-on S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math).
A child’s first school experience is the foundation for learning for the rest of their lives. That’s why at SmartStation School, teachers guide children in learning how to learn. We harness children’s instinctive curiosity, teaching them how to ask questions and find the answers — equipping them with the crucial problem-solving skills they will need in every academic pursuit.
Whether studying colors in preschool or preparing for first grade, children at SmartStation are actively and joyfully engaged in their learning.
Preschool students learn to build, create, communicate and collaborate. They begin to engage with numbers and words through a wide range of tactile activities that are woven into the fabric of the school day. Most of all, they start to discover who they are – developing self-confidence and curiosity for the world around them.
Our child-centered approach enables students to better understand and recall information, apply their knowledge to the world around them, and develop passions of their own.
Our goal in educating kindergarten students is to nurture their curiosity and use it as the engine that fuels their learning.
Together, we delve into exploring the nature around us, language, arts and math, focusing on concrete, interactive experiences that amplify our understanding. Our classroom work is enhanced by explorations in STEAM, a multi- disciplinary project and physical education.
Kindergartners at SmartStation build foundational skills and deepen their knowledge of the world around them, but they also gain the confidence to ask questions and become empowered to find the answers.
At SmartStation our Teachers prepare sessions filled with possibilities and encourage choice, initiative, exploration and collaboration.
Whether acting out stories dictated by our teachers, listening at story time, writing using invented spelling, or talking at “show and tell,” children are immersed in language and its many uses. Days are filled with mathematical thinking as children figure out how many days they’ve been in school or how to follow a recipe. Projects link language, science, and art media—paint, clay, music, movement—adding depth and breadth to a young mind’s understanding.
Our play based learning helps children develop holistically through motivation, confidence building and cognitive skills. Our academic structure is more focussed on holistic development rather than rote learning.
