Simon Marshall

I am an Associate Professor at the University of Melbourne.  Prior to that, I was at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2014 to 2025.  I received my PhD from Princeton University under the direction of Peter Sarnak.

My research interests include the theory of automorphic forms, representation theory, and harmonic analysis.  I am particularly interested in properties of arithmetic manifolds such as their cohomology, and how much their eigenfunctions can concentrate.

I am a member of the Victoria Geometry, Analysis and PDE Network.
