Contacting the school during this period of time

This situation will be new for most schools and families. Schools will be trying to engage in a cycle of continuous improvement and refinement based on feedback so we may ask you and your child for your thoughts on how the system is working.

  1. If your question is around school operations or student absences, please continue to email the school directly for our office to respond.

  2. If your question is around student learning, please use Seesaw only.

If you wish to discuss any matters with your child's teacher in greater detail, please use Seesaw Family App to message your teacher and they will arrange a meeting either through video conference or telephone.

Contacting teachers through Seesaw

If you have a question about a learning task or need to clarify anything for home learning, you can message your teacher directly through Seesaw Family App.

Teachers will be working online- through Zoom or providing feedback on student work between 9am and 3pm each day. Some teachers will also be providing on site supervision each day, meaning they may not be available for student work feedback or parent questions until the following day. We thank everyone in advance for your understanding.

If a Zoom is cancelled due to teacher illness or staff on site supervision, your teacher will directly contact their class via Seesaw.

If you message your teacher after 3:30pm, you may not receive a response until the next morning.

Contacting teachers through Phone or Video conferencing

Should you wish to arrange a phone call or video meeting with your child's teacher, send a message through Seesaw Family App to your teacher and they will respond with a day and time.

Contacting regarding school operations or student absences

Please email the school directly and we will respond as soon as we are able to.

The school website will continue to have any updated information uploaded regularly to our community.

The school will keep in contact with your family and child during this time.

If your child has not uploaded any work to Seesaw for 2 days or there has been no contact through email, Seesaw family app or other means, we will be contacting your family to check in and provide support in any way we can during this time.
