LINDAU NOBEL LAUREATE MEETING 

💡 Every human is a moving #BOOK 📚 : full of stories, experiences, and knowledge waiting to be shared. We just need to listen 👂

The 74th Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings #LINO25 has truly been one of the most eye-opening experiences of my life. Within just ~six days, on a beautiful island Lindau, Germany (with scorching hot weather 😅), I realised how little I actually know, and how deeply passionate people can be about their research. Most of the Nobel Laureates never set out to win a Nobel Prize. They simply followed their curiosity, worked hard, and stayed consistent. With passion, inshaAllah, the path will pave itself.

One of the biggest things I’ve learned here is that asking questions is not something silly, it’s actually the beginning of something meaningful. I’ve met so many amazing young researchers from all over the world just by starting with, “Hi, how are you?” That first step might feel awkward or scary, but it’s always worth it. It really is the start of everything.

This experience taught me to stay humble with what I know, to keep searching for my own passion, and to always stay open to learning (I now want to learn about AlphaFold 3 🤩).

I truly hope to bring these experiences and ideas back to Malaysia, especially to the younger generation, and show them that science is a universal language, spoken by those who have the #passion to uncover the unknown. Even though we came from different countries, we all shared the same language: curiosity, passion, and a deep love for learning.
