Selected details are integrated into the interior, which additionally completes the good atmosphere.
Did you know?
The name of the bar "The Beertija" comes from the Croatian word "birtija" - /bǐrtija/ - which came to Croatian from the German word "das Wirtshaus". Now, you probably wonder how it is birtija with a B, when Wirtshaus is pronounced with a V. This is because many German words entered Croatian, mostly from southern German dialects, and are pronounced similarly to the dialect from which they originated. Wirtshaus, in Gottscheerish, which is an Upper German dialect, is pronounced - birtš(h)aúš -. These words frequently have an antique connotation. Consider the meaning of the German word "der Freier", which, in Croatian, is frajer, and refers to a free or unmarried guy looking for a wife, or in an even older sense, a male person with legal capacity and political rights.
