Children who participate in research complete tests measuring:
Hearing
Pattern recognition
Ability to say different sounds in words
Language (grammar)
Speech perception
Vocabulary size
Memory for new words
Awareness of the sounds in words
Testing should take about 2 hours across 2 sessions. Children will take home a small prize (toy or book) after each testing session.
