Getting to SNU from Incheon International Airport
Airport Limousine Bus
The Airport Limousine Bus offers a convenient and affordable means of traveling from Incheon International Airport to Hoam Faculty House at Seoul National University.
Please take Airport Limousine Bus No. 6017, which provides direct service to Hoam Faculty House near the SNU rear gate. The journey takes approximately 100 minutes, depending on traffic conditions.
Operating hours (daily from the airport): 6:29 AM – 10:49 PM
Fare: KRW 17,000 (USD 12, one way, adult)
Baggage: No additional charge
For the most up-to-date schedule, please check the link below.
The conference venue is located about 1 km from Hoam Faculty House, taking approximately 30 minutes on foot, but the path is uphill. Given that mid-August in Korea is very hot and humid, we recommend taking the bus for your comfort. To do so, take bus No. 관악(Gwanak) 02-1, across the main street from the faculty house. After riding for 5 stops, get off at Gwanaksa Samgeori (Dormitory Entrance), and you will find the venue just a 5-minute walk away. Please see the visual guide below for directions from the bus stop to the venue.
By Taxi or Ride-Hailing Service
A standard mid-size sedan taxi from the airport to Seoul National University typically costs from approximately KRW 70,000, or USD 50, with the final fare varying depending on traffic conditions, vehicle type, and service level.
Ride-hailing services such as Uber are also available.

By Subway
From Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 (ICN T2), where most international flights arrive, you can take the Airport Railroad (AREX) to Hongik University Station and transfer to Subway Line 2 (the Green Line). Seoul National University is located on Subway Line 2 . For the most convenient access to the conference venue, take Line 2 to Nakseongdae Station, exit via Exit 4, and turn left at the cyan GS Caltex gas station. Across from the far end of the gas station, you will see Jean Boulangerie bakery with a yellow awning. Take bus No. 관악(Gwanak) 02-1 in front of the bakery and get off after 13 stops (approx. 15 minutes) at Gwanaksa Samgeori (Dormitory Entrance). Building 14 (conference venue) is a 250-meter walk from the bus stop (see the visual guide from the bus stop to Building 14 below)
For those who find Seoul National University Station (Line 2) more convenient, take Exit 3 and board Bus 5511 in front of the ARTBOX store. After 8 stops (approx. 15 minutes), get off at Gwanaksa Samgeori (Dormitory Entrance). Building 14 (conference venue) is a 250-meter walk from the bus stop. Please be aware that finding the right bus at Seoul National University Station can be a little more challenging due to the multiple routes and separate boarding locations.

The journey from the airport to the conference venue by subway takes approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes. As the route requires 2 transfers, including a transfer to a local bus, it may be challenging for travelers with large luggage. Therefore, an airport limousine bus or taxi is recommended for greater convenience. For more information on using Seoul's subway system during your stay, please refer to the Local Information page.

Useful Map Services in Korea
While Google Maps is familiar to most international participants, its service in Korea is restricted and has slower traffic updates. For better navigation, we suggest using local smart map services such as Naver Map or Kakao Map, which provide optimal public transportation routes and real-time bus locations.
