Welcome to SLR Assist, an iOS app developed by Vsevolod Kemaev (the "App Owner"). By downloading and using SLR Assist, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the app.
App Description: SLR Assist is an iOS app that utilizes your device's camera to measure light and acts as a light meter. It recommends aperture or shutter speed settings for analog cameras based on user input, such as ISO (film speed), user-selected shutter speed, or aperture.
Intellectual Property: SLR Assist is the intellectual property of the App Owner. Copying, distributing, or stealing any part of the app is strictly prohibited.
User Restrictions: SLR Assist is available to anyone who downloads and / or subscribes to the app. However, the App Owner cannot control how users utilize the app and cannot be held responsible for any illegal or unintended use of the app.
Privacy Policy: SLR Assist does not have the capability to generate user content. SLR Assist does not collect, store, or process any personal data. The app may save user inputs related to its functionality, but this data remains on the user's device and is not collected by the App Owner. However, please note that Apple may collect data through the StoreKit2 service used for managing subscriptions. The App Owner has no control over the data collected by Apple and encourages users to review Apple's privacy policy for more information. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability: SLR Assist is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. The App Owner does not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or quality of the app's functionality. By using SLR Assist, you acknowledge that the App Owner shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the app.
Device Security: It is your responsibility to keep your device and access to the app secure. The App Owner therefore recommends that you do not jailbreak or root your phone, which is the process of removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device. It could make your phone vulnerable to malware/viruses/malicious programs, compromise your phone’s security features and it could mean that the SLR Assits app won’t work properly or at all.
Modifications and Pricing: The App Owner reserves the right to modify the app or its features at any time and for any reason. If the App Owner introduces new features or services that require payment, the App Owner will make it clear what you are paying for before any charges are incurred. The App Owner will not charge you for the app or its services without your explicit consent.
Mobile Data Charges: If you use SLR Assist outside of an area with Wi-Fi, please be aware that the terms of the agreement with your mobile network provider will apply. You may be charged by your mobile provider for data usage or other third-party charges while using the app. By using SLR Assist, you accept responsibility for any such charges, including roaming data charges if you use the app outside your home territory without turning off data roaming. If you are not the bill payer for the device on which you are using the app, we assume that you have received permission from the bill payer to use the app.
Device Battery: The App Owner cannot accept responsibility if your device runs out of battery and you cannot access SLR Assist.
Third-Party Services: SLR Assist uses Apple's StoreKit2 for managing subscriptions. The App Owner is not responsible for any issues or disruptions in the app's functionality caused by the StoreKit2 service. The App Owner accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, that you experience as a result of relying on the app's subscription functionality provided by StoreKit2.
Governing Law: These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable to the user's app store.
Termination and Modification: We may stop providing SLR Assist and terminate your use of it at any time without notice. Upon termination, the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end, and you must stop using the app and delete it from your device. We may update our Terms of Use periodically, and you are advised to review this page for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms of Use on this page.
