BACK TO OUR ROOTS
The Slow Movement first emerged in the 1980s in response to the development of a McDonald’s fast food restaurant in front of the Spanish Steps in Rome, Italy, preaching the embrace of cooking with local ingredients and culture to achieve clean, fair trade, and sustainable products, despite the longer production process. Since then, the movement has extended to countless facets of life including tourism, fashion, academics, and even urban planning, all of which incorporate a philosophy of slowing down the pace of life.
Our first location will be in Rome, Italy - the home of The Slow Movement.
Check back soon to be the first to know about our upcoming development.
