This is the first assignment for the certificate course that required me to build an app for a fictional arcade. I focused primarily on the flow of events that people could try to RSVP on.
This is the first assignment for the certificate course that required me to build an app for a fictional arcade. I focused primarily on the flow of events that people could try to RSVP on.
With the initial paper wireframes I focused on the front page. I tried to envision which would work better for the Arcade overall instead of just focusing on the app's presentation. I looked at both simple and active formats for the home page thinking what could be more interesting for the users.
I adapted the first drawn design into the wireframes and based it around simple info and buttons instead of trying to have many pop ups. The Idea being making it quick and effective for users to find and RSVP for anything they see relatively easily.
Also added screens for the other options in this version to better visualize how the app would effectively feel.
The Final part here is the High Fidelity prototype. I went with a darker theme and focused on just the user flow for rsvping events. I cut down the front page to just what's needed for the time since information, mostly removing images and making the boxes in a straight line with obvious borders. Deciding to keep the images to smaller boxes after the home screen also helped focus and performance to avoid unnecessary loading.
