National experts from SupportEd have developed a three-part module series for educators of SLIFE in Massachusetts. These self-paced professional learning sessions are designed for educators with all levels of experience in teaching students identified as SLIFE, from novice to expert.
SLIFE Instruction Part 1 provides an overview of who SLIFE are and how to recognize and utilize their many strengths to find success in school.
Part 2 dives more deeply into instructional practices for SLIFE, including how to connect these students with their peers to enhance their learning experiences and personal growth.
Finally, Part 3 discusses ways to work with fellow educators to support SLIFE learning English as well as content.
