Commands

Send any bot commands into #bot-cmd

You can change the name of the program (not listed) you're using by going to...

"User Settings"
"Games"
look down to "Not seeing your game? Add it!"
Click on "Add it!"
Select that program you have opened
Name it!

Do Not Disturb

Studying? Sleeping? Doing busy work?

Change your status to "Do Not Disturb!" How-to here

This stops all notifications on your devices (unless you have a tech issue).

Mentioning

Many Discord Users don't have notifications active for the server.

It's helpful when @mentioning the person you're talking to.

Non-formatted

Some users have names with certain characters that act as text commands.

To share your 'name' without triggering text commands, insert a ` before and after the name.

Example: `__Not formatted text__'

Notes

If you're confused about who someone is behind their changed username, just click on their name/profile on Discord. You'll see their original Discordtag.

You can type in the user's nicknames and other information in "NOTE" to help you remember.

Save more data by disabling image previews and other settings by going to…

Disabling your notifications may help with data flow as well.

Discord does not use too much data.

Reducing the Kbps (As an admin) improves connection in the voice channels settings, especially for multiple users in one voice channel.
