Snoring happens when the muscles in your throat become too relaxed during sleep. Because they are too relaxed and flabby, they are unable to keep the airways wide open. As a result, the airways become narrow and your breathed air is now forcibly pushed through this narrow space. This forceful pushing of air causes makes a loud sound that we call Snoring.
Sleep Apnea happens when your muscles relax so much that your airways get blocked. This means that no air or oxygen can get to your lungs. This in turn means your heart, your brain and the rest of your body is unable to get oxygen. This shortage of oxygen causes serious harm to the whole body.
