Reminders for volunteers!

Some volunteer events require you to have background checks and clearances completed and turned into the main office.
Please follow the below steps to ensure the appropriate paperwork is on file with the school for you.

Directions for Obtaining Clearances: 

1. Complete online Criminal Background Clearance or print and mail an application

2. Complete Child Abuse Clearance

3. Complete FBI Fingerprints: Applicants must register for an appointment online at: https://www.identogo.com/.  

   • Click "Get Fingerprinted" in upper right corner.

   • Enter Pennsylvania as your state, then select Digital Fingerprints. Use service code 1kg6zj (Pennsylvania DHS-Volunteer) 

   • Fill in appropriate information to schedule your appointment.  The cost for fingerprinting is $23.25 (subject to change by the state)

   • 10 year + residents of PA may waive the clearance by submitting an affidavit

4. Upon completion of these steps, please print out all confirmations/clearances and submit them to the main office at SLC.
