But first a couple of reminders:
Don’t forget to add money to their School Café account so they can buy lunch! If you have never used the system before, you will need to create a new login at https://www.schoolcafe.com.
Select Springfield School District, NOT Springfield Township School District.
You will need the student’s ID number to set up an account. You can find this in the “Registration” section of your Home Access Center (HAC).
Your child's PIN will be the last 5 digits of their student ID number. They will need to know this PIN in order to purchase lunch. Teachers will review this information with the students during the first week of school and may send information home for parents to help their child memorize the PIN as well.

If you child's normal schedule will be changing for any reason, you must notify the main office before the start of the school day. The easiest way to do this is via email to slcattendance@ssdcougars.org, best practice would be to include your child's specific teacher as well. An email to this attendance line will serve as the written excuse note. You may also call the absentee hotline at 610-690-3110 and leave your message with your child's name and homeroom. If calling the absentee line, you will still have to send in a written note for the absence when your child returns to school.

SLC is participating in Yubbler for School Supplies ordering again this year. When you order through Yubbler, 50% of profits are donated back to the school for teachers and staff to use for supplies. School supply lists for next year are already uploaded, so you can check school supplies off the list now and enjoy the rest of your summer!
