Make sure you have what you need before purchasing Rockwool™. You will need:
Bread knife
Work gloves
Pillow cases (can be bought for cheap online and/or in any department store, nothing fancy)
Long sleeve shirt
Optional materials depending on your recording space may include:
Command hooks (for your walls/doors/etc.)
Mask (Rockwool™ is not fiberglass insulation, so you do not need to worry about breathing, but better safe than sorry!)

Once you have what you need, the process is fairly simple! Cut your Rockwool™ with your bread knife and make sure you have enough to stuff your pillow cases. Rinse and repeat the process for however many you have. I bought a dozen queen sized pillow cases, so I had plenty to use!

Once I was done, all that was left to do was reorganize all the clutter inside my closet, and stuff the pillows inside! I already had quite a lot of clothes and bags that were doing a pretty good job dampening sound already, but you'll see on the next page exactly how much changed!
