Here you can see my previous recording space. Glorious isn't it? As I stated before, I am a voice actor on a budget. I'm a college student with not a whole lot of resources, so I have made due with what I had available to me within my price range. And, yes, I also use a blanket to reduce reverb as well! As a tall guy, I made use of my big dumb head to drape the blanket over the mic in most cases.
I've gotten cast in some small projects with the setup I was using, with the help of editing tools I'm able to make even something that looks like this sound pretty okay! Even my raw audio isn't that bad. Still, I was looking for a way to make it sound even better.
