The four Slate Islands - Seil, Luing, Easdale and Belnahua - lie off the west coast of Scotland, just south of Oban. For centuries they exported roofing slates across the world.
The Scottish Slate Islands Heritage Trust has a wealth of historical documents and photos, held in our Heritage Centre on Seil. This portal displays most of our archives.
