Slade Park Dog Walking Paddock - Terms of Use

We hope you and your dog enjoy using our dog walking paddock, to help to ensure the safety of you, your dog and others, please read the following information. It is understood that each time you make a booking you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. If an issue arises, please email us at sladeparkdogs@gmail.com.

• Please do not enter the paddock if it is occupied, some people use our paddock as a safe space to run their dog(s) which may have reactivity and/or recall problems. Some dogs bite.  

• Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your booking and remain in your car until the previous booking has vacated. 

•  Dogs must be loaded back into vehicles by the end of your booked time to ensure the next booking can start on time.

• You are not secure in the car park, only once you’ve entered the fenced area and shut the gate behind you. 

• Our fences are patrolled daily to check for damage to the fencing but please alert us if you see any maintenance issues or hazards on site in case these have been missed.

• Please pick up after your dogs to ensure everyone has an enjoyable experience.

• Please take rubbish home with you.

• We cannot be held responsible for any accident or injury to users or dogs whilst using Slade Park Dog Walking Paddock. 

• Use of our paddock is at the dog owners own risk. We recommend that you have public liability insurance, often included in your pet or home insurance policy.

• Parts of the field are not completely level, users should be aware of this to avoid injury to themselves and their dogs.

• If you arrive early, please wait in your vehicle in the parking area until your booking time.

• If you arrive late for your time slot you cannot recuperate this time back at the end. 

• Dogs are not to be left unattended in the field at any time.

• Exempt breeds are allowed to use our field, but are to remain on a lead and muzzled until secure inside the paddock.

• Dogs should not dig holes in the field. If your dog causes significant damage to the field you must contact us immediately so we can fix it.

• For insurance purposes, Slade Park is a non-smoking area. 

• All dogs should be immunised and up to date with vaccines. If you have booked and your dog becomes unwell do not bring them to the field, please contact us and we will rearrange your booking. 

• Users must respect the field and its contents at all times. Children should not climb the gate, fences or equipment or be left unattended at any time.

• Please contact us prior to your booking if you intend to bring more than 5 dogs with you.

• Please be respectful of the people living and operating businesses nearby and try to keep noise levels to a minimum.

• Please shut the internal gate behind you, even if the next user has arrived for their slot. This prevents anyone entering the field who has not booked properly. 

• Refrain from divulging any combination codes to a third party. The codes are subject to change at any time without any notice and the current code will be sent out in your reminder text and email 1 hour before your booking.

• The user who makes the booking is the person responsible for all persons and dogs in the field during their time slot.

• Ensure all food (both for dogs and people) are taken away with you and not left in the paddock. This is to avoid causing health issues for other dogs using the paddock after your booking.

• Vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk. Slade Park cannot be held responsible for any accidents, damage or loss incurred to vehicles or their contents and valuables.

• You will not be offered a refund if you do not turn up for your allocated time slot.

• Refunds can be made if bookings are cancelled at least 24 hours before the booked slot.

• If we have to close our field due to weather or technical reasons we will notify customers as soon as possible and rebook or refund as required.

Slade Park Dog Walking Paddock has the right to refuse or cancel bookings who do not comply with our terms and conditions at any time.

Privacy 

Slade Park requires some of your personal data to allow you to book with us or if you wish to contact us. This data is first name, last name, mobile phone number and Email Address. This data is required to be able to contact you with lock codes and booking confirmations so you can use the facility. Your data is stored with our online booking system provider: “Acuity Scheduling” behind a secure username and password. We will not share your data or use your data for purposes other than for managing your booking with us. Booking and using Slade Park is deemed as you agreeing to us using this personal data provided to manage your bookings through our online booking system provider.
