*Enclosure Noise: Every action has an equal but opposite reaction. An equal amount of acoustic energy is projected off the back of the driver into the Sub enclosure as is being projected off the front of the driver into the listening room. Depending on driver & enclosure construction, some of the acoustic energy projected into the enclosure leaks into the listening space. The resultant Enclosure Noise is in effect distortion.
